I love this place so much!!! Friends took me for my birthday and I have introduced almost a dozen others to this deliciousness!! I have tried almost every other Mexican restaurant in Calgary and nothing compares!! I was very excited to see that a second one is opening up on 17ave SW!!! Now I don’t have to drive 40 minutes for the BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN CALGARY!!!

This place has authentic Mexican food. We ordered the Molcajete and it was amazing, full of flavours, and great size.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They answered all questions and were knowledgeable for dietary restrictions

I love mexican food and it was worth trying as first visit. Food was very nice and more than reasonable portion. There were nice and friendly staffs very attentive. I live far from this restaurant but am willing to go back again for mexican dishes. This restaurant is not well fancy place but fancy enough for foods!
Authentic fresh Mexican cuisine in a friendly easy going atmosphere. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend the Michelada Especial! The fish tacos and burrito were excellent! A+. Will be back!
We heard about this restaurant from a few people and had to try it today. We Will absolutely be back soon, especially to try their Caesar Coronarita! We had some amazing food today and the service was great
The place is very typical. You feel the Mexican atmosphere at its best, the music, the decoration, the waiters, etc. The waitress was very friendly and knew the menu. I ordered a molcajete with beef and fried tacos, the flavor was spectacular, the portions were adequate. The margaritas were delicious. The churros are super tasty. The price is adequate. I liked it and I will come back.

This place is so low key but it’s also dope. The overall vibe is legit and the food was bursting with flavour. Highly memorable dinner I want to hit up this spot again!

Bright and open environment with music that will make you want to dance! I started with the Cantarito Paloma cocktail, perfectly sweetened with fresh muddled grapefruit slices and just enough tequila; I easily could have ordered another. I enjoyed the Carne Asada, a generous portion of grilled beef, tender and flavourful, served with Mexican rice, refried beans, guacamole, fresh salad, and six freshly made corn tortillas. Filling and delicious. I finished with the Churros; hot and fresh. Crispy exterior with a soft centre, drizzled with just the right amount of dulce de leche. For the price and genuine service you will receive, you can’t go wrong dining here.
First time here and the food was spectacular!!! I can’t say anything that would come close to describing how good this food is. If you like Mexican food then you need to go here. We’re not from the neighbourhood but will absolutely drive across the city to come here now.

The food here is amazing. Tons of flavour and there really is something for everyone.
We started with the queso/chorizo with home made chips and pico, which everyone at the table loved.
We ordered a couple of the Golden Cactus molcajetes for the table and what a delight having the deliciousness sizzling away at the table. We tried the brisket tacos and birria tacos and those also blew us out of the park with flavour. The beef has a delicious depth of flavour and is amazingly tender.
We finished with all the desserts which included pecan flan, chocolate flan and churros with Dulce de leche. I loved the pecan flan the most.
We will be back!
